'Fifty Shades Darker' Spoilers & Plot Rumors: Jack Hyde, Leila Williams & Mrs. Robinson To Make Or Break The Film

"Fifty Shades Darker" will feature three new characters, namely, Jack Hyde, Leila Williams and Mrs. Robinson, and they could either make or break the sequel.

In the first movie "Fifty Shades of Grey," all eyes were focused on Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). At that time, fans of E.L. James' trilogy didn't have any idea how the two actors will be able to give justice to their respective roles.

Now that they are fully aware how Dornan and Johnson will play their parts, all eyes are being fixed on the three new characters. As of late, Universal Pictures has not yet confirmed which actors will play the three new roles.

According to The Stir, the three new characters could make or break "Fifty Shades Darker" because each of them will play a crucial part in the story.

For instance, Jack Hyde will not only be Christian's nemesis; he will also try to win Anastasia's heart. Although he didn't necessarily succeed in the book, there are rumors that the new director could switch things up a little bit for the big screen.

Mrs. Robinson, on the other hand, is the woman who is responsible for introducing Christian into the world of BDSM. Therefore, she will play a big part in sharing Christian's back story.

Leila Williams, Christian's former submissive, once played the "role" of Anastasia in the latter's life, so her participation will also be crucial to the success of the film.

As of late, there are speculations on who could possibly play the roles of Jack, Mrs. Robinson and Leila. According to Design & Trend, "Thor" star Tom Hiddleston is a good choice for the role of Jack. Meanwhile, "Paper Towns" star Cara Delevingne could play the role of Leila, and Mrs. Robinson may be given to Katie Holmes or Sandra Bullock.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
