'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Cast Updates: 'Prince Harry' Rumored to Join GoT Ensemble

HBO's hit series Game of Thrones has swept the whole world with its grand production, cast and story line.

Game of Thrones viewership is very wide that even a member of United Kingdom's royal family is head over heels for the show. It has come to GoT's management's knowledge that Prince Harry is a big fan of the show and the producers are reportedly trying to come up of ways to give the prince a cameo role in the upcoming season 6 of the fantasy series.

British website, the Daily Star, has already covered this rumor way back May 2015 but it managed to crept up again. In an interview with a crew of the popular series, he said "Harry has been offered a cameo in the sixth series of Game of Thrones, which starts filming in Northern Ireland this summer. At the moment he's not made a decision, but the offer is on the table. There are plenty of opportunities for him to take up a role."

DB Weiss and David Benioff, creator of Game of Thrones series, are rumored to be supporting the prince's possible cameo role and hopes that Prince Harry can squeeze the taping in his busy schedule. Though many are excited when the news first broke out, many are wondering of what Queen Elizabeth II might say about her son joining and acting for an American TV show and what could be the effect of Prince Harry's cameo appearance to the royal family.

Many are wondering what Prince Harry's role would be as it's still unclear up to this date. Also, many are thinking why HBO or the show runners of Game of Thrones would need a rating stunt with the Prince when it's already popular all over the world.

Prince Harry is fifth in line of inheriting the throne, from his father Prince Charles, his brother Prince William, nephew George and niece Princess Charlotte.
