"Allegiant" co-stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley recently revealed that they initially felt awkward towards each other on the set of their first movie, "Divergent."
During an interview with Flickering Myth, James shared that he had difficulty getting back into his character as Four after he went on break post "Divergent." However, the actor clarified that he immediately felt comfortable working with Woodley on the set of their second movie, "Insurgent."
"On 'Divergent,' we really didn't know each other so there was still that feeling of wanting to make a good impression," he told the publication.
Meanwhile, James also talked about what it was really like working with his onscreen partner. At present, James and Woodley are filming the third installment of the "Divergent" franchise, "Allegiant - Part 1."
"She's great. One thing Shailene and I found is that when you come back after a year and at first you think it's fine because we've done these characters, it's all good, then when you get on set and you do that first scene, it's like oh. It just doesn't come back. You've got to click into gear," he said.
In other news, James and Woodley are not dating each other, despite rumors that they are romantically involved with one another. As of late, Woodley is dating her boyfriend Nahko Bear and James is still with his girlfriend, Ruth Kearney. There is also no truth to the rumors that claimed James and Kearney are already engaged and that the latter is pregnant with their first child, according to Yibada.
James and Woodley will reprise their roles as Four and Tris on "Allegiant - Part 1." The film is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016. They will be joined by their cast members, namely, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Zoe Kravitz, Octavia Spencer and more.
