'Queen of Versailles' Daughter: Jackie Siegel Reveals Why Her 18-Year-Old Daughter Committed Suicide

The "Queen of Versailles" star Victoria, daughter of Jackie and David Siegel, died last month. Now for the first time, in an exclusive interview, the stars of the 2012 documentary "Queen of Versailles," Jackie and David Siegel, broke their silence on the death of their daughter.

The couple who has been criticized for the sudden death of their daughter Victoria tackled every issue with Inside Edition. In a very emotional interview, Jackie, 49, opened up on the cause of her daughter's death. Autopsy reports released by the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office on Wednesday said that the cause of death was accidental drug overdose due to methadone and sertraline toxicity.

Jackie told the site that as a mother, Victoria's death was the most terrible thing she had experienced in life. "Personally I have not stepped foot in the house since Victoria died," Jackie said.

David also shared his grief, saying, "I haven't been back to the house. One of the bedrooms was going to be hers," he said.

Jackie was also condemned by the media at the height of the tragic incident when a photo of her taking a picture of her daughter's casket came out. The "Queen of Versailles" star explained that she wanted to remember Victoria even in that moment, for the last time.

The Siegel matriarch also shared that she and her husband created Victoria's Voice Foundation in the memory of her daughter, who died of drug overdose. The foundation was built to help save teens battling drug addiction.

Back in June, the family nanny of the Siegel, Virginia Nebab, talked to Daily Mail to explain why the family left Victoria and spent the holidays in Las Vegas, Nevada and Park City, Utah. Nebab told the site that it was Victoria's decision not to join her family during the time.

The nanny claimed the she didn't know about Victoria's drug dependency. A few weeks before Victoria passed away, the nanny stated that Victoria had been distant with her family. She also defended the Siegels against rumors that they lack proper parenting skills.

The "Queen of Versailles" stars' daughter died on June 6 when she was found unresponsive at the Siegel family's Seagull Island home in Green Cove Island, Windermere. She was taking prescription medication to treat her childhood seizures but eventually became addicted to it that led to her tragic death.
