It's The End for 'Wayward Pines' on Fox TV

As Wayward Pines draws to a near with its Season One Finale, Fox announced that there will be no second season for the successful TV Series of the program.

Fox's successful TV Series entitled "Wayward Pines" talks about a Secret Service Agent named Ethan Burke, played by Matt Dillon, who travels to Wayward Pines in search for his missing former partner whom he had an affair with, along with another federal agents who was also considered as a missing person.

On his way to the town, he ends up in a terrible car accident and wakes up in a local hospital. Since then, things have been completely troublesome for the lead character.

According to Latin Post, the season finale, also the tenth episode of the series entitled "Cycle" will show the Abbies intrude the town and start attacking people. Ethan and Kate, the protectors of the town, do everything in their power to keep harm away from the residents and keep them safe. With them is the First Generation who are also all-too-willing to keep the human race surviving amidst the notorious mutants that want to destroy them all.

THE PRODUCTION AND CAST

The Series is played by several actors and actresses namely Howard, Melissa Leo, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, Shannyn Sossamon, Charlie Tahan, Reed Diamond, Juliette Lewis and that of Tim Griffin. It is also executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan.

For next week, the fans of the hit TV Series on Fox entitled "Wayward Pines" will cater to their last season finale for the series. According to TV Series Finale, although the series was a tremendous success, the production company of Fox has concluded that there will be no following season for the series.

Despite the tremendous success of having to land an average rating on 1.09 and has 3.79 million views, Fox has kept its decision in putting a stop to the show. Apparently, "Cycle" is the last of "Wayward Pines" that we will see. Catch the episode air on Fox o July 23, Thursday, at nine in the evening.
