Lindsey Vonn Admits that She Still Communicates with Tiger Woods After The Split

Two month ago American World Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Caroline Vonn and American professional golfer Tiger Woods have split but Vonn admits that she is still in contact with the successful golfer.   The two athletes seem to have no hard feelings after the split and it is good that they are amicable towards each other.  On Wednesday, July 15 the professional skier Vonn has feely talked about her previous pro golfer ex while attending the 2015 ESPY Awards sporting a vibrant cherry-red gown.  She has also said that she would be watching Woods in the Brittish Open which kicked off on July 16, 2015.  Speaking of which, she quoted, "Yeah, I definitely want to [see him play]," she said. "I hope he does well, and I'll be watching."

"I've texted him a little bit, but we haven't been in touch too much," Vonn admitted at the event. "He seems like he's doing well."

Early in May, Vonn has pronounced the split from Woods in a statement, writing, "After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart."

The two athletes have met in a charity event in 2012.  Lindsey Vonn, 30, and Tiger Woods, 39, dated for three years after that meeting. It was the pro golfer's first noteworthy public relationship since his split in 2010 from Elin Nordegren with whom he shares two children Sam, 8, and Charlie, 6 following his infamous cheating scandal.

Unlike most of Woods, exes, Vonn has well wishes for him.
