Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation Rumors, Price & Release Date 2015: Will the New iPod Touch, Nano & Shuffle on July 14 Be the Last Models for the Company?

Various reports claim that tech giant Apple will finally launch iPod Touch 6th Generation along with new models of iPod Nano and Shuffle tomorrow. According to Macrumors, the reports are based on information from the "usually reliable" French website iGen.fr, which said that the new iPod will be the "fastest ever" with its 64-bit A-based processor. The iPod Nano and shuffle, meanwhile, will get new colors.

Though the possibility of the launch of the music devices has been widely reported, Highlight Press is speculating whether the models that will reportedly be unveiled tomorrow will be the company's last in terms of media players. According to the website, this is because it is very rare to see anyone today with a smartphone and a separate media player at the same time.

In fact, just last month, Apple Insider reported the possibility of the media player being gone after Apple supposedly "quietly removed the iPod category from the top menu of its website." According to the same report, iPod sales have significantly declined over the years, and Apple has refused to reveal its quarterly sales since.

Though that is the case, iPod fans may still get to celebrate in a few hours if the said July 14 release date of iPod Touch 6th generation, Nano, and shuffle is true. According to GottaBeMobile, iPod Touch 6 will have three colors: gold, bright blue and fuschia. The device's camera, which used to be 5 megapixels, will also be updated, according to another Apple Insider report. Apple iPod Touch 6th generation will also be available with 16, 32 and 64 GB storage capacity, reports claim.
