Jennifer Garner Ben Affleck Divorce: Actor Doesn't Wear Wedding Ring But She Does

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's divorce is definitely one of the hottest topics today in Hollywood. Last week, the two made headlines when they released their joint statement regarding their separation. On Tuesday, a week after their announcement, Jennifer Garner was seen for the first time in New York. What's reportedly surprising though is she was still wearing her wedding ring.

It was first reported by Daily Mail that the "Alias" star was spotted meeting a friend that day. She looked busy but still stylish in her denim dress. It was the first time she was seen in public after their much-hyped divorce announcement. The couple flew to the Bahamas the day after they made the announcement.

"They enjoyed it and he enjoyed it, and he also thought it was good for the family. It was important to them, but it was also nice. He also had some time alone with the kids, and he really enjoyed activities with them," a source revealed to People.

Garner was seen still wearing her wedding ring after returning to the U.S. from a vacation with her estranged husband Ben Affleck and their kids. A source revealed that she left the Bahamas on July 3 and was looking "very nervous" and "uncomfortable."

Meanwhile, the 42-year-old actor-director was spotted picking up coffee in downtown L.A. on July 4 and reportedly looked troubled. His grey hair was messy as he sported a growing beard. However, he was no longer wearing his wedding ring, E! News reports.

According to some sources, Garner flew to Atlanta with her kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel to film "Miracles From Heaven" after their post-breakup vacation. Affleck returned to Los Angeles alone.

On Tuesday, June 30, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's divorce reports spread in the media.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding," the couple's joint statement read.
