Colorado Finds Unlikely Partner In Hemp To Stay Strong In The Market

Denver Colorado has been on the top of the list of the hottest properties in the United States. The city has dominated the list for years, but was recently dethroned by San Francisco this year, based on RealtyToday's list. But on the other hand, Colorado is not giving up the top spot, at least not giving it up without showing a good fight and recently, Denver must have found an unlikely partner in doing so, Pot.

According to Realtor, apparently, it is not only the legalization of medical marijuana that helps Denver to remain strong in the market but also the materials that are used in homemaking are made out of cannabis. A New York based company named Green Built LLC is selling building materials made from cannabis. The company was started by the visionary James Savage. This former Wall Street Analyst is also responsible for bringing a big helping hand to the victims of the Haiti Killer Quake and Hurricane Katrina.

If these are a surprise for you then get ready to be blown away as Savage continues to discuss why they pick Hemp out of the materials available today. He said that they knew that hemp was the answer that they were looking for. Not everyone knows that hemp, most especially in the flower power era, the 1970s, aside from its most popular use; hemp is also used as a rope, paper, and loose-flowing clothes worn by the cool people back in the 1970s.

Green Built LLC also introduced their newest baby in the market called the Hempcrete. Hempcrete in a nutshell is a bio-composite made of the inner woody core of the hemp plant that is mixed with a lime based-binder.

On the other hand, despite of these promising products that Green is offering, Savage admits that the entire nation is not yet ready to embrace the whole marijuana-hemp-based products. But luckily, there are some states that are open to it, such as Colorado.

Another good thing about this Hemp-based product, according to the young executive, is that the hemp doesn't give the distinct skunky scent that other products do.
