Hawaii is most famous for its beautiful beaches and amazing resorts. This is the kind of place where visitors and tourists would want to stay for a long vacation period. For those people desiring to have their own vacation house in Hawaii, there is a haven called "The House of Paradise" available in the market for a worthy price of $22.8 million, according to Realtor. Owning this grand vacation spot can be one of the greatest achievements in life for anyone.

The Hale Palekaiko, which was the given nickname "The House of Paradise", is a combination of a private resort and a vacation house. The materials used to build this contemporary estate supplied from different parts of the world. The prestige paradise is located at 72 South Kalaheo Avenue, Kailua Beach, Oahu, Hawaii 97634.

This 36,995 square feet of precious land highlights these valuable structures such as hanging gazebos in the pool, a totally stocked guesthouse, a prestigious outdoor kitchen and bar and of course the main rooms.

As reported by the Realtor, Anne Oliver, the listing agent of this property said the estate is brand-new as the owners had just bought it in 2013. It was an abandoned structure left behind by the original residents due to a divorce. The owners spent more than two-and-a-half years completing the property to reach the highest level of specs. Along with their surprise was the realization that the place was too big for them, according to Oliver. So the couple lists the magnificent home on the market for sale just after three months of the completion.

Because of the materials used to build this luxurious property, interested buyers have come from different countries like Japan, China and Canada. What makes this estate interesting and splendid? According to the report from Fox News, the imported materials used to complete the interior of the 4-bedrooms of the house were Italian travertine slab flooring, Italian Calacatta Luccicoso marble countertops and walls in the kitchen. It also has old-growth bleached Burmese teak hardwood flooring; driftwood-finished French oak cabinetry for the indoor bar with Italian travertine countertops, a seven-burner, three-oven range imported from France and Indonesian teak wood bale doors.

The other sections of the house include Peruvian travertine countertops and a bamboo ceiling painted in white and an ebonized teak storage. The bar is accentuated with Viking appliances and a Kalamazoo pizza oven. The full bathroom is located at the back of the bar. A photo illustrates the bathroom lined with marble. The walls are made out of Indonesian pebble tiles and a vanity spa bench made out of teak driftwood.

The center of the property is ornamented with a huge swimming pool which is according to Oliver, "the biggest I've seen in my 20-plus years of real estate." There are also Indonesian-styled pavilions, a spa and a three-bedroom guesthouse.

The prominent estate was constructed by Hawaiian architect Peter Vincent. From Oliver's description, the house is an "Indo-modern" which means a property with modern visuals and an Indonesian influence. The civic has been kept "persistently small" with a "relaxed daily life," even though being habitat to one of the best beaches in the world and President Obama's "Winter White House," says Oliver.
