‘Supernatural’ Season 11 News: Cast to Reveal Spoilers in San Diego Comic-Con Along With Season 10 Gag Reel; Will John Winchester Be Back As God Next Season?

"Supernatural" Season 10 has just ended, and with it come various questions about the next season. Based on the Season 10 finale, the show's Season 11, which will debut this fall, is set to reveal what happens after Darkness is freed and the seductive witch Amara returns. In line with this, the show's cast will grace the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con to tease spoilers and also unveil the Season 10 gag real. Meanwhile, God is expected to be showcased next season to stop Darkness, but who will play the role?

According to VineReport, some cast members of "Supernatural" will attend the San Diego Comic-Con on July 12 to reveal details about Season 11. Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam; Misha Collins, who plays Castiel; Mark Sheppard, who plays Crowley; and showrunner Jeremy Carver will all be in the event to reveal details about the upcoming season of the TV series.

Besides spoilers for Season 11, the cast will also showcase a gag reel of Season 10 as a treat for fans. "We put together a great gag reel this year that is pretty funny. It'll be something that I'm sure the fans will get a huge kick out of," Todd Aronauer, who produced the gag reel, said, as reported by Supernatural Wiki.

Meanwhile, with "Supernatural" Season 10 ending with Darkness on the loose, it is expected that God will appear in Season 11 because he's the only one who can stop it. MoviePilot has released a list of top actors that could play the role, which includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays John Winchester in the show, Jim Beaver, who plays Bobby Singer, and Samantha Smith, who plays Mary Winchester.

According to the report, Morgan, is the "perfect fit" to play God in "Supernatural." Since the character has not been seen since Season 2 (except for flashbacks) after he helped the boys at the Devil's Trap, his comeback as God is reportedly possible in Season 11. His character is also deemed as a fan favorite, so it would reportedly be awesome if he turns out to play the character God.

"Supernatural" Season 11 is set to return to CW this fall.
