Kevin Smith Confirms Third Part of 'Jay And Silent Bob Movie' In The Works

Film maker Kevin Smith is considering to make the third part of his iconic movie 'Jay and Silent Bob', Cinemablend reported. According to Smith, after a short cameo appearance of the duo in Smith's latest creation "View Askewniverse" movies, the comedic film director is considering making the third chapter of the movie coined as "True North Trilogy". The movie might combine the two eccentric universes.

Smith confirmed this news as he posted a message to both his and the film's fans of his latest masterpiece. He also teased the public of the possibility of the duo in his upcoming film Moose Jaw, the third installment of this three films, the first Tusk, and the second Yoga Hosers.

With this teaser, it is very evident that Smith is itching to revive his baby, Jay and Silent Bob, in the upcoming movie. Also, it is very safe to assume that the remake of the film can be determined by the reactions that they will receive from the cameo appearance of the stoner Jay and the not so silent Bob.

On related news about the remake of the movie, Consequenceofsound, an online website that discusses latest movie news and trends, Smith has confirmed the remake of the film. According to the website, Smith already began his work on the third Clerks film and sequel to Smith's 1995 film Mallrats.

The filming of Clerks III kicked off last May and it was reported that it will take place in Philadelphia. Jason Mewes, who plays Jay, and Smith will reprise their role as Jay and Bob. Rosario Dawson, Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson, and Marilyn Ghigliotti will also return for the film.

During an interview in a local radio station in Tucson, Arizona, Smith said that Mallrats 2 will most likely hit filming in 2016 and the script is halfway done and they are pulling all the things they can pull to make it possible.
