Jerricho Cotchery Net Worth: New Panthers Wide Receiver Sells Luxe Jersey Mansion

In an article from Realtor, Jerricho Cotchery, NFL player of Carolina Panther, listed his mansion in Watchung New Jersey worth $1.75 million. The house has a 9,000-square-foot.

The article added that the Listing Agent Chris Joo says the "very upscale" home was highlighted by well-appointed upstairs bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Also, the 14-room mansion is tastefully decorated and doesn't look much like a stereotypical jock pad. The house is about a half-hour drive from the Jets facilities in Florham Park, NJ.

In addition, Cotchery spent $1.6 million on the Watchung home in April 2008. The mansion was Cotchery's home base when the soaring wideout rocketed to stardom with the New York Jets.

Another article from NY Times reported that the visitors are welcomed into the home by framed paintings, a grand piano, hardwood floors, granite countertops and flat-screen televisions. In addition, NY Times also described that his house has all the expensive furniture but highlights none of his football exploits.

According to Celebrities Money, Cotchery's net worth is $5 million while his market value is at $8.8 million. The article added that he signed his contract of $6.5 million with Carolina Panthers for seasons 2015 until 2018.

In the same article from NY Times, the family patriarch was Bob Cotchery, but everyone called him by his middle name, Jerricho. He pulled out his teeth with pliers, popped his separated shoulder back in place and once cut off his pinkie toe with a lawnmower.

In another article  from Famous Birthday, he married his wife Mercedes in 2004. The two met at North Carolina State University.

Mercedes said, as mentioned in NY Times, "When I met him, I realized there was a reason he was so reserved. I like to quantify it like his eyes have seen so much, there's nothing that can surprise him, or take him out of his element."
