'American Horror Story' Season 5 ' Hotel' Start Date & Cast Rumors: Ryan Murphy To Offer Caitlyn Jenner A Role On FX Series?

"American Horror Story" Season 5 titled "Hotel" is set to premiere on FX and there are some reports that reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner will be joining the cast as a guest star.

In a recent interview with Hollywood Life, series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that he's such a big fan of Jenner and he's open to working with him. There are now rumors that Murphy wants to take advantage of Jenner's resemblance to "American Horror Story" cast member Jessica Lange, so he could potentially come up with a nice storyline for the both of them.

"Maybe I'll put Caitlyn on 'Horror Story.' You never know. I wonder if she could act?" Murphy said.

Meanwhile, Lange was also happy with her recent associations with Jenner. After the latter's photos on Vanity Fair magazine were released online, thousands of fans noted how much they look alike.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, Lange was quoted as saying, "That's so wonderful. Well, now I'm going to have to look for that picture."

Murphy was also reportedly pleased with how Lange reacted to reports that she and Jenner looked like they were twins.

"What I thought was the greatest thing of all was, Jessica said, 'I love that.' I thought Jessica handled that in such a great, classy way... She said, 'What a minute, what? Oh, that's great.' I like that, I thought that was wonderful actually," he said.

In other news, the filming for "American Horror Story: Hotel" is set to commence in Los Angeles this month and the series will premiere on FX in October.

The cast for Season 5 includes Lady Gaga, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Matt Bomer, Max Greenfield, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, Cheyenne Jackson and Angela Bassett. It is still unclear whether or not Lange will officially return to "Hotel."
