David DeJesus Networth: David sells His Chicago-Area Home for $1.6M

The unforeseen trade led the former player of the Chicago Cubs to sell his former home. The 6,000-square-foot property was originally priced for $1.05 million in 2011, and according to realtor.com, "The home is now on the market for the price $1.6 million."

The quiet suburban area in Chicago is home to David DeJesus beautiful house. The lovely brick home has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two half-baths on roughly three-quarters of an acre. The interior features a remodeled master suite with dressing room, walk-in closet, tray ceiling, and crown molding as described by realtor.com.

Other features of the house includes a finished basement which showcases a rec room, bathroom, bedroom, and a bar area. It also has a masculine den and realtor.com reports that "The den features a wood-beam ceiling and built-in bookcases with windows looking out to the mature trees on the property."

Nothing is ever certain in the sports industry and David learned it firsthand when he was surprisingly traded by the Chicago Cubs as reported by realtor.com. David himself was surprised when he got traded and according to ESPN, "The Chicago Cubs traded outfielder David DeJesus to the Washington Nationals for a player to be named later."
