‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Release Date, News, Update: Super Couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes to Lead? [Rumors]

Rockstar Games previously reported that they could release the sixth installment of the highly-anticipated game series, "Grand Theft Auto", in 2018, or about five years from Grand Theft Auto 5's release. Now, rumors are circulating that Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling could take on the lead role for the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto 6" with a female character, as reported by Master Herald.

Of course, we can't really confirm on the news as both Rockstar Games and Ryan Gosling haven't made any statements or even hints about the possible collaboration. But wouldn't it be amazing to see Gosling appearing in one of the most successful video game franchise? Just recall his gritty character as a stuntman slash get-away driver in the celebrated 2011 film, "Drive".

Additionally, rumors included Ryan Gosling's gorgeous wife, Eva Mendes, to take the female role in "Grand Theft Auto 6" as well. Well, that's interesting...

"Grand Theft Auto 5" made a staggering earning of 1 billion in just three days of its release in 2013. It was available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. So it is really not unusual for the developers to be pressured of its success thus creating "Grand Theft Auto VI" would take a long time. As we can recall, players waited for 523 days just to get their hands on the online heists DLC to GTA Online.

And when it was finally released in March this year, every player seemed to be overjoyed and all they can say is that it was definitely worth the wait.

So, yes, every Grand Theft Auto fan will know this by heart - Rockstar Games would surely find ways to surpass Grand Theft 5's success so do hold on to your seats! As for Ryan Gosling, you can expect to see him in a still-untitled Blade Runner sequel soon.
