Celebrity Lifestyle Update: Hollywood Power Couple Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Had a Tea with the Royals at the Kensington Palace

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie had tea with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William & Kate Middleton in a private Kensington Palace meeting on Friday to discuss their shared interest in combating the illegal wildlife trade.

Brad and Angie had flown all the way to London earlier in the morning so that Jolie will be able to attend a lunch at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on Monday. It was a part of her work on UK foreign policy and her ongoing campaign to end war zone sexual violence.

According to Celeb Cafe, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt spent much more time talking with the Duke and Duchess than their scheduled time. "Everyone got on splendidly," the spokesperson shared.  Looks like the foursome did enjoy each other's company a lot. The Royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton were very pleased to meet the Hollywood star couple. The son of the Royals, Prince George, also joined them.

Although Prince William, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did attend to the BAFTA 2014 awards, they did not personally meet and haven't introduced with each other yet.

According to the report, Kate and William were very excited about their meeting to the star couple, and Lainey Gossip quoted that "there must have been photos taken", but unfortunately, no official shots have been released in the public.

From the report of Food World News, in October 2014, Queen Elizabeth II made Jolie an Honorary Dame Commander at a private Buckingham Palace ceremony, which is the female equivalent of knighthood.  And in the year 2001, she was also awarded by the United Nations as an Ambassador of Goodwill for the organization's refugee agency. And because of Jolie's good deeds, she received UN Global Humanitarian Action Award in 2005 for her activism on global issues.

The Hollywood power couple's visit to London was part of their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which funds the Namibian N/a'an ku sê Wildlife Sanctuary that used to take care of the injured wildlife and aims to help minimize conflict between human and wild animals.
