Honey Boo Boo Net Worth: Owner of the Clan's House Sells It for Double the Price - $45K

Honey Boo Boo's net worth has grown into a hefty amount, and so is the value of the home that she and her family used for their popular reality TV show. Now fans of the defunct reality TV series, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," can have the chance to live at the iconic home as the owner is selling it for a huge amount of $45,000, which is double the price that it was previously paid for five years ago.

Honey Boo Boo's net worth of $800,000 is huge and it has certainly added a value to the home where the family lived. According to TMZ, the 1,368-square-foot Georgia home with three beds and one and a half baths was originally purchased for $27,000 in 2010. The site reports that the surge in the value of the property can be attributed with its "notoriety." There was reportedly a security alarm too since the family resided there and became popular.

The home that Honey Boo Boo and family lived in is still in good shape except for some areas that need a few repairs. The family reportedly left their Georgia home to transfer to a bigger pad in Hampton, Georgia in February of this year.

In 2012, Honey Boo Boo's mother, Mama June, toured a Huffington Post reporter in their Georgia abode. Back then, the family room with entertainment center was decorated with pageant tiaras. It also had a storage room that was referred to as a "stockpile room" and was used for storing the family's three-year supply of toiletries. There were two rooms in the house for Mama June's girls while the third served as the master's bedroom.

Honey Boo Boo's net worth skyrocketed after the family became famous for their "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" reality TV series. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the family earned $50,000 per episode.

Honey Boo Boo, or Alana Thompson, started with her first project "Toddlers and Tiaras" on TLC. Later on, she was given her own TV series as a young beauty pageant contestant. Soon, Honey Boo Boo's net worth grew into manifolds.

Alana aka "Honey Boo Boo," 9, and her three other sisters, Anna, 20, Jessica, 18, and Lauryn, 15, all have different fathers.

The family became the subject of criticisms before their show finally stopped airing on October 24, following reports that the mother of Alana had been involved with a convicted child molester, Mark McDaniel.
