"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 is set to air in just a few months and fans can't wait to see what will happen to Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons).
In Season 8, Sheldon tried to propose to Amy but the latter decided to cool off for some time before he could even pop the question. Now Bialik is opening up about her character as well as Sheldon's relationship and their alleged engagement.
During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Bialik said that Sheldon taking out the ring may not have anything to do with his plans to propose because he never said anything about it in Season 8.
"We don't really know what the story is with that ring. And I think that's something I had to remember as an actor. We don't know what he was planning to do with it. We don't know if it was something he got from his mother. We don't know what the process was by which he acquired that and what he would think to do with it," she said.
The actress also advised fans not speculate too much especially in relation to Amy and Sheldon's relationship because so many things can happen to them.
"People want to jump to all sorts of conclusions because it's super exciting to do so and they love these characters and they know them. But the neat thing about our show and Jim and my character's relationship is that anything can happen. And I think the finale was proof of that," she said.
Meanwhile, according to Master Herald, the events that took place did not stop Bialik from seeing "Commitment Determination" as one of the most powerful episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" throughout the past eight seasons.
