"Orange is the New Black" fans can't wait for the upcoming fourth season of the show. As early as now they are already wondering what will happen to Red (Kate Mulgrew) and Healy (Michael Harney) and all of the other cast members on the Neflix series.
In Season 3, fans of Red and Healy were pleased to see a development in their relationship. This has also led them to speculate that season 4 might finally see the two officially together.
Mulgrew recently released a blog post for Entertainment Weekly where she talked about her character and Healy. According to her, it feels as though the two have an unspoken understanding.
"They are far from enemies but neither are they bosom buddies, although she has animatedly and openly defended his virtues, to the chagrin of his petulant and self-consumed mail-order bride," she said.
Meanwhile, Matt McGorry also talked about the upcoming Season 4 of the hit Netflix series, more specifically his absence for the most part in Season 3. During an interview with Yahoo News, McGorry did not directly slam rumors that he will no longer return to Season 4 but said that this decision is all in the hands of the writers.
"The thing that I can say about Season 4 is that it's the writers' decision about whether or not Bennett is back... I have my fingers crossed that he comes through and is the man that we all hoped he was. But I wouldn't be surprised to find out that wasn't the case. Like me, I guess you'll just have to wait and see," he said.
In Season 3, Daya and Bennett's relationship took a turn for the worse after the latter disappeared after getting the former pregnant with his child. This caused their daughter to be sent to child services.
As of late, there is no release date yet for the upcoming Season 4 of "Orange is the New Black."
