'Supernatural' Season 11 Release Date & Spoilers: A New Threat Will Come To Sam And Dean

Season 11 of CW's anticipated cult series, "Supernatural," is set to be aired before the year ends and fans are excited for the new season to come. International Business Times reported that Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean, teased fans by posting tweets about filming the new season on his Twitter account.

Ecumenical News previously reported that Sam, Dean's brother played by Jared Padalecki, might not be part of Season 11; however, this was quickly dismissed. According to the report, the actor has been missing conventions since he needed some time for his family, but he is very excited to go back and start shooting for the new season.

According to TV Line, Season 11 episode is titled "The Bad Seed" and will be directed by Ackles himself. In addition, the new season will also introduce another character named Amara who is a femme fatale that possesses "an acid tongue and seductive beauty."

There are also speculations that say that Amara was summoned to Earth when "The Darkness" was unleashed in the season finale of Season 10. According to Christian Daily, as of writing, the name of the actress to play the role is yet to be confirmed.

On the other hand, CW also announced earlier that the Winchester brothers, who are played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, will be joined by their co-stars Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard and the show's executive producer Jeremy Carver during the scheduled appearance of the show at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con on July 11.

According to earlier reports, the panel will talk about the details on the complete Season 10 DVD, which will reportedly be made available during the event. Fans are also hoping that the cast will announce the premiere date for Season 11 despite the rumors circulating that it will begin on October 7.
