Celebrity Homes for Rent: Live Like a Rockstar and Rent Celebrity Homes of Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and Sting

Since it's almost holiday season, how would you feel if you would live inside a rockstar's home? You know, those types who have made their mark in history as one of the greatest musicians of all time? How would you feel if you slept in the same bed as Jimi Hendrix, admire the views in Sting's Florence estate, or lose yourself in Kurt Cobain's artistic homestead?

Now that the holidays are fast approaching, many celebrity homes have come up for rent, giving people the opportunity to like the lavish or artistic life of the idols that they have looked up to in Hollywood.

Some of these celebrity homes include Ava Gardner's property located in California and James Corden's located in London. Their properties are up for rent at a rate of £56 overnight and £15,000 for a full month on both properties, respectively. You may say, those rates are quite affordable for celebrity homes.

But what if you are more interested in renting homes of musical legends? Rockstars who have long been gone but have never been forgotten? What if you wished to live inside the homes of Jimi Hendrix or Kurt Cobain even for a short while? How much do you think will it cost you for bigger names? Are premiums a "must" when talking about rockstar legends?

According to The Guardian, generally, people would spend roughly about £20,000 to £200,000 even for just a week inside the residences of the rich and famous, let alone that of Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Usually, they would be willing to spend this much provided they would be treated like real rockstars - with chauffeurs, driving lavish sports cars or limousines, lounging at these properties' heavenly pools, and playing in their built-in sports complexes. Celebrity homes are usually with a slight premium since these properties cater to features and amenities that are uncommon in other properties.

Here are several rockstar homes that you can live in without having to purchase the entire property.

Sting's Florence Estate

This property is located in the hills of Florence, which would roughly cost you about £8,000 rent for one whole week of stay. Here you will enjoy breathtaking views of Florence from the top or play on Sting's private tennis court. Additionally, the rate qualifies for five guests maximum.

Kurt Cobain's Flat

Cobain's flat is way cheaper for a holiday getaway. Moreover, it has some remarkable history with it. It is a graffiti-riddled flat located within Los Angeles where he was able to artistically produce and record Nirvana's 'Heart-Shaped Box' song. This artistic, music-lovin' and historic flat may only cost you £100 per night, way affordable for music lovers to spend a holiday like a rockstar.

Jimi Hendrix's Gingerbread House

The Gingerbread House is located in Maui, Hawaii. According to Wall Street Journal, Hendrix's property will only cost you about $165 per night, another very reasonable and affordable price for a "living like a Rockstar" holiday getaway. This property, too, has some musical history in it. In 1970, Hendrix filmed 'Rainbow's Bridge' in Maui, Hawaii, where he instantly fell in love with surfing and spent some time with the surfers. When he would stage parties, he would use this Gingerbread Cottage for venue, located within Hana in Maui.

Apart from its historical value, this property also has a Sacred Gardens, a wonderful and colorful display of flora that is just right outside Hendrix's home.

Living inside celebrity homes, even for just a short while, can absolutely cost you because their names and reputation throughout history have made a timeless mark. Even their homes exude the lifestyle of the rich and famous regardless of their physical absence. Staying at Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and Sting's properties will surely make you feel that your money is worth the experience, especially when you are a huge fan of rock music. Living like a rockstar truly has its perks, and you can have that experience for as low as $165 per night.
