WWE Chamber Matches: Elimination Results 2015 - Ryback Hailed as the New Champion

There is a new WWE Intercontinental Champion! According to a report from wrestlezone.com, Ryback's pin on Sheamus has propelled Ryback to the top of the Elimination Chamber 2015.

The WWE Chamber lineup included King Barrett, Ziggler, R-Truth, Sheamus, Ryback and last-minute replacement for Rusev, Mark Henry, with the match starting with Barrett and Ziggler. First out of the pod was R-Truth, but he was quickly subdued by King Barrett.

When Barrett turned his sights back on Ziggler, R-Truth took this opportunity to hit the King, but the King proved too much for both Truth and Ziggler. At this time, Mark Henry was released from his pod to join the fray. The action increased in intensity as the replacement wrestler hit the ground running.

Henry then grounded Barrett with his strength. This then was the time eventual champion Ryback joined the action. At this time, Truth was able to pin Barrett, eliminating the King, according to a report from fansided.com.

Ryback then went on the offensive, eliminating R-Truth with a pin. Sheamus was then able to join the match after being stuck in his pod. He was met at the ring by Mark Henry, but with cunning moves, Sheamus was able to pin the "World's Strongest Man." After the pin, Sheamus went after Ziggler, who hit the canvass after being hit by Sheamus' famed Brogue Kick, leading to a pin.

This left Ryback and Sheamus as the two remaining contenders for the Intercontinental Crown. Ryback moved first but was countered by Sheamus outside the ring. When the action returned to the ring, Ryback was able to hit a Shell Shocked on Sheamus to pin the Irish pride for the three-count.

As the bell rung, a new champion was declared. The belt was awarded to Ryback by Daniel Bryan, the former champion. As the battle ended, the crowd was reportedly chanting, "Feed me more!"
