Comedian Tracy Morgan Finally Settles With Walmart

Comedian Tracy Morgan finally settled with Walmart, as reported by BBC. The 30 Rock comedian has ended his lawsuit against supermarket giant Walmart that rammed the back of his limo on June of 2014. The accident left Morgan with a traumatic head injury, a broken leg, nose, and ribs. The accident also has left the Emmy award winner in a very critical condition. The accident claimed the life of Morgan's friend and comedian James McNair or also known as Jimmy Mack.

According to the reports, the jury found out that the truck driver fell asleep while driving because he hasn't slept for more than 24 hours. The multi-billion organization also took full responsibility for the accident. The settlement was not disclosed but according to the comedian, he said that the arrangement did right to him and his family. It also did right for his associates and their families. He is also thankful that the issue was settled peacefully.

On the other hand, online news website The Wrap, disclosed that Walmart has agreed to pay McNair's family a $10,000,000 million payout which will be given directly to the late comedian's children. Although the reports were unconfirmed, sources said that the $10,000,000 million payout is only for the McNair's, the amount for Morgan's settlement is still undisclosed.

The report also confirmed that the amount will be paid in an increasing fashion that will suit the McNair sibling's needs. Jamel, 26, and Jamel, 19 McNair also said that they will put aside parts of the settlement which will start at $3,000, on the first month. The calculated amount and payout will be there for the rest of the McNair sibling's lives.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was reported to attempt to delay the progress of the case hoping that he would get a different result.
