'Kingdom Hearts 3' Trailer, Release Date & News: Top 5 Disney Characters Rumored to be Featured

If there is one thing that fans clamor about Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts, aside from its storyline, is the chance to see and play characters from Disney movies. According to Master Herald, fans are starting to speculate which beloved Disney character that will make an appearance at the upcoming Kingdom Hearts game.

The online game authority got hold of a report that Captain America, Darth Vader, and Queen Elsa might appear on the next installment. PC Advisor also poured in that the princess from Disney's "Tangled" and a few characters from "Big Hero 6" might make a cameo too.

At this point, Square Enix or Disney has yet to confirm the speculations and everything will remain rumors until the two powerhouses confirm the inclusion of the mentioned characters. Nonetheless, the only fact that needs confirmation to reappear again are Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy who were included in the previous offering of the game. The three iconic Disney characters will join the games' main protagonist Sora in his quests.

Fans and gamers have been waiting in anticipation for Kingdom Hearts' creators to make a statement about the official release of the highly anticipated crossover action role-playing game. But, based from an update from Square Enix during the first week of May, they are eyeing to launch the Japanese version of the game at the D23 Expo on November 6 to 8 at the famous Tokyo Disney Resort.

Game director, Tetsuya Nomura, mentioned that they are also planning to showcase the gameplay trailer at the event and maybe a mobile version of the game as well.

The game will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
