As the "Pitch Perfect 2" film saw the girls concluding their high school life, could we see a new batch of Bellas that includes Taylor Swift?
As With the success of "Pitch Perfect 2" both at the box office andin terms of records sales, may fans eagerly turn to the possibility of a third installment and the direction the film could take. According to E! Online, who caught up with the cast during the Elle Women in Music Event presented by eBay, actors Anna Camp and Skylar Astin said they haven't been clued in regarding any "Pitch Perfect 3" plans. The pair admitted they wouldn't be in the priority list of knowing insiders.
Skylar said, "I wish we were cool enough to know these things and not tell you, but we don't know anything really, truly. We won't be the first to hear."
While they couldn't give anxious fans the news theyd love to hear, the did give their opinion on their top pick for a new Bella.
"I think that Taylor Swift would make a great Bella. I really think she would. I think it would even be a bigger movie!" admitted Camp.
Pitch Perfect 2
The sequel to the hit "Pitch Perfect" has made over $120 million in the global box office, shared Mail Online. Its soundtrack has sold 92,000 albums and 134,000 songs were bought and nearly 3.3 million times songs from the film were streamed online.
In addition, one of the biggest tracks for the film was Australia actress Rebel Wilson's song "Crushing it!", which debuted as Billboard 200's number one song.
Rebel Wilson's Age
Wilson has recently made headlines after she was reported to have been hiding her true age. As reported earlier, Rebel is said to be 29 years old but according to records, it was revealed that the comic is actually six years older at 35 years of age.
In addition, it was reported that the blonde's real name is actually Melanie Elizabeth Bownds.
When asked about the issue of Rebel Wilson's age, Austin said (via E! News), "I have no comment, not because I know anything about it. But because that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's so rude to ask a woman her age, and to speculate about anyone's age, and Rebel's a great person, so who cares?"
Camp seconded the sentiment and said, "Yeah she's awesome no matter how old she is." Wilson has taken to social media to address the reports and has posted funny tweets about the news.
