According to BBC, the British boxer has received invitations for a fight but he's admitted he's leaning on a face off against the 48-0 record holder over the Filipino champion.

"I'm in a position where I could face either but I want Mayweather," quoted BBC's Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek.

The 28-year-old athlete was reportedly approached by both Manny, 36, and Floyd, 38 but he believes a fight with the Mayweather would not only be more exciting but larger financially as well.

"I think Mayweather's team want the fight - but I've spoken to Manny's team and they've said the same thing, that they want a fight," he disclosed.

Khan is already set to fight Chris Algieri on May 30.

Will it Happen?

Mayweather is looking to retire after a fight in September but the publication has reported that the Muslin boxer will be fasting at that point for Ramadan.

"I really believe I have Mayweather's number and I'm ready for whatever he wants," he declared but adds, "I can't do September because of Ramadan. It just depends on my schedule this year but if we can do this year or early next year I will definitely jump to it."

On the other hand, Pacquiao's camp (via Bleacher Report) has revealed that the boxer/ politician who was injured during training camp may require surgery for a shoulder tear injury. The recovery time could take anywhere between 9 to 12 months.

"It's part of the game," quoted ESPN of the boxer after Saturday's mega-fight. "I don't want to make alibis or complain or anything...[but] it's hard to fight one-handed," he said.

Other names that have been mentioned with regards to Mayweather's upcoming bout include Canelo Alvarez and Miguel Cotto.
Mayweather Jr. defeated Pacquiao by unanimous decision on Saturday.
