'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie: Alternate Ending Revealed & 'Darker' Sexy Details Here

It's been an interesting past few days for "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans.

A few days earlier, a new promo photo showing Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) in a masquerade mask, which was soon-after followed by the release of the related teaser trailer.

Now, with the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film officially arriving in Digital HD, the alternate ending has now been revealed. In an announcement back in March, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" unrated Edition with Alternate Ending will be revealed in Digital HD and Blu-Ray.

Original Ending

The the original film's conclusion, we see Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) seek to learn more about Christian Grey and ask the billionaire to show her the worst that could happen. Grey agrees to the request and in the Red Room of Pain, Steel gets naked, leans over and is then whipped six times.

The experience was too much for Ana and she tell him never to do that again. Following a scene in the room where Christian tries to comfort her, she admits she's fallen in love and Christian doesn't accept the emotion. The film ends with Ana leaving Christian's home and as the elevator closes, they say each other's name once.

Alternate Ending (Spoilers)

Now that the Digital HD copies are out, Just Jared has summarized the alternate ending, found below:

"In the alternate ending, it is revealed that Christian and Anastasia are done for good after the experience in the red room. The footage shows the two characters going back to their normal lives, but Christian can't seem to pay attention while in an important business meeting and we see Ana crying in a fetal position. It definitely seems like they're missing something!

It is then shown that Ana has sent Christian a toy version of the glider plane they flew earlier in the film. A note is included that says, 'this reminded me of a happy time'."

"Fifty Shades Darker" Details

The franchise sequels, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" have gotten their official release dates.

Universal Pictures announced that "Fifty Shades Darker" will be in theaters on Feb. 10, 2017, while "Fifty Shades Freed" will premiere on Feb. 9, 2018. The script will be penned by the husband of British author E.L. James, Niall Leonard did writing for the first film but wasn't credited.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, Donna Langley, Universal's chairman, said that the tone of the film will be different. The sequel will be "more of a thriller."

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" Digital HD was released May 1 while Blu-Ray and iTunes will be released on May 8.
