Phillies Pitcher Cliff Lee is Saying Goodbye to His Philadelphia Condo for $6.9 million

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee is saying goodbye to his condo located right in his team's home state, as reported by Realtor.com. The current asking price for Lee's condo in Philadelphia is reportedly $6.9M, adds the site.

Realtor.com noted that Lee's condo boasts spectacular Philadelphia city skyline views. The website notes that the property of the injured Phillies pitcher really speaks of luxury one could only dream of as the unit comes with a private driver and a $94,000+ Mercedes-Benz S550. You better believe it as it is specifically mentioned on its listing on Foxroach.com of Fox & Roach Realtors:

"Exclusive Condominium with Full Floor Residence in the Heart of Historic Rittenhouse Square. Direct Elevator Access to the Most Spectacular Views North, East, West and South! Stunning Living Room, Open Formal Dining Room, Family Room, Large Gourmet Eat-In Kitchen. Large Terrace. Three Spacious Bedroom Suites. The Luxurious Master Suite has Endless Closet Space and a Lux Marble Bathroom. 24hr Concierge, Indoor Pool, Fitness Center, Board Room, Resident's Garden with a Koi Pond and a Chauffeur Driven Mercedes S-550. Two Automated Garage Parking Spaces."

As mentioned on the listing, there are "two automated spaces in the underground parking garage" for car-owners, notes Realtor.com. What's really special and amazing about this feature is that, by using a wireless key technology, the car may directly go the condo unit from its set garage, the outlet adds.

According to Philadelphia Business Journal, the pitcher and his wife Kristen dropped $4.85 million on the three-bedroom unit. Thus, a closed deal with their current listed price will give the couple more than $2M of profit!

The luxury condo measures almost 4200 sq.ft. of living space, that basically covers the whole floor, dedicated to Lee and Kristen, notes Realtor.com. The building amenities promise to give the new owners of this luxury condo a relaxing and comfortable place to stay with its koi pond and garden, as indicated on the listing.

Time with Philadelphia in jeopardy?

On March 16, the Phillies' Management put the injured pitcher on a 60-day disabled list as reported by NJ.com. A part of the statement read, "The Philadelphia Phillies have placed Cliff Lee on the 60-day disabled list with a left forearm strain. This is the same injury that disabled Cliff twice in 2014. Cliff has now attempted to twice rehabilitate this injury without having surgery. While surgery has now been recommended, it would effectively put an end to his 2015 season as the rehabilitation from the surgery would run through the end of the season."

Lee's final season of the five-year $120M contract with the Phillies ends in 2015, as noted on Realtor.com. Is he leaving Philadelphia for good? Whatever happens, we just wish for him to recover soon.
