PS Plus PS4 PS3 Free Games for May 2015 Leaked? List Includes 'Rayman Legends', 'Knack', 'Need for Speed Rivals' & More!

With the end of the month of April drawing nearer, PlayStation gamers who are members of the PS Plus service are all looking forward to the list of free games they could get their hands on for the month of May. It seems that the wait is finally over as a leaked post in one of PlayStation's blogs revealed the upcoming free titles for the next month.

According to Franchise Herald, the much-awaited list has been accidentally posted in the PlayStation blog based in Germany. The post revealed six new titles that PlayStation users could access starting May. The games include titles for users of PS3, PS4, and even PS Vita.

The list has three new games each per kind of console, noted Gamepur. It listed the PlayStation 4 to receive the titles, "Rayman Legends" and "Knack." However, the site noted that "Rayman Legends" could also be played in PS3.

For PS3 users, the two new titles include "Need For Speed Rivals" and "Shovel Knight." The second title is also reportedly playable in both PS4 and PS Vita.

Should the list prove to be real, then PS Vita users could access "Fruit Ninja" and "Asphalt Injection."

Many fans of the titles were excited to see the list but are taking the post with a grain of salt as some deemed it as fake. The reason some players speculated about its authenticity is due to the addition of "Shovel Knight" to the list.

A report in Gear Nuke raised the question because "Shovel Knight" is a game that was released only a few weeks ago. This would make it difficult for Sony PlayStation to give it away as a free game since many fans purchased it.

Meanwhile, the title "Need For Speed" is already a free game for the Xbox One in Microsoft's EA Access, thereby making it a believable title to be included in the list.

"Rayman Legends" already came out early 2015 as part of the free games that could be accessed on the "Games With Gold" promo.

Venture Capital Post also noted that the title "Knack" could really use a boost in its users and players as the game had a disappointing release.

While the titles are sure to bring exciting gameplays to the PS Plus subscribers, it is best to wait for an official announcement from Sony since the list could be a hoax. The Japanese entertainment firm is set to make a statement on the May 2015 titles soon.
