Rihanna New Album 2015: Could-Be ‘R8’ Songs RiRi Revealed So Far

Rihanna's "R8" album will be dropping soon, and the "Where Have You Been" songstress might decide to launch it unexpectedly - a trend among today's biggest music artists. She just released a new interlude, titled "James Joint."

"Dude, I am in love with my interludes," she told V Magazine. "The one called 'James Joint' is on constant repeat. The album is soulful and aggressive - whether it is lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice."

"In celebration of 420, here is an interlude from my 8th studio album that I call 'James Joint,'" the "FourFiveSeconds" singer wrote on RihannaNow.com.

True enough, the 70-second song clip was "in celebration of 420," as the lyrics was all about smoking pot and wreaking havoc with a certain significant other. "I would rather be breaking things because we can't see / We are too busy kissing / Just making scenes / Here come the police, did not know about your history," the song's lyrics said.

A recently leaked duet from RiRi and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has just been leaked online as well. Although the song, titled "Put It Up," was recorded in 2013, it was only released to the public a few days ago.

Rihanna and Breezy were still dating at the time, and it was supposed to be featured as "Carpe Diem" on the latter's 2014 album, titled "X." However, since they broke up, Brown opted to forego including the duet into his album, according to Latin Post.

However, there is a possibility that it might be featured as a special track on RiRi's upcoming "R8" album. There is no confirmation regarding this matter, but the track has already been released to the public nearly a week ago.

Furthermore, Mashable pointed out that the 27-year-old Barbadian singer already launched three songs, all of which might be featured in her "R8" album. She launched "FourFiveSeconds," together with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, in January which was ahead of this year's Grammy event.

"BBHMM," or "B****, Better Have My Money," was also debuted in snippets in the now-famous app, Dubsmash, before she performed it in this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards. She even used this particular track in a prank that she intended for Jimmy Kimmel as the show's April Fool's Day special.

Plus, she premiered "American Oxygen" on Tidal, Jay Z's music streaming service, where she happens to be a stake holder. Over a week later, RiRi's team posted the track on YouTube.
