'Jurassic World' Trailer, Release Date & Cast: Footage Reveals New Dino Hybrid & Park Chaos

A new "Jurassic World" global trailer has just dropped and in the footage, we learn more about the genetically modified dinosaur and scale of destruction it brings about. In the new video spanning 2 minutes and 40 seconds, fans will see the chaos the new dinosaur brings to the park.

The opening scene shows Chris Pratt, a park employee, working with dinosaurs as he describes the human-dinosaur relationships to Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays Claire Dearing.

"It' not about control, it's about the relationship... Based on respect. These animals are thinking, i gotta hunt. I gotta...[does fist movements gesturing pro-creation]. You gotta be able to relate to at least once of those things."

It goes onto detail what brought about the creation of the hybrids. "Everytime we've unveil a new attraction, the attendance has spiked."
"Corporate felt genetic modification would up the 'Wow' factor," to which Pratt refutes with, "they're dinosaurs. Wow enough."

Realty Today reported earlier that the new dinosaur, believed to b called the "Indominus Rex" will fight with other dinosaurs, which now seems to be the case.

In the trailer, one Park worker shared that the new breed "was designed to be bigger than the T. Rex." Aside from size, the new species is also highly-intelligent and is killing other dinosaurs for sport. Footage is shown of dead dinosaur (plant eating Apatosauruses) and we also hear that it actually ate it's own sibling.

Needless to say, the new dinosaur breaks free and things get out of control pretty quickly. As they attempt to "contain" the asset, Mail Online notes that the intelligence of the animal was underestimated. The new dino was able to remove its own tracking device because it was watching when the doctors installed it.

It's unclear what Chris Pratt's plan is to save the park and the people stuck inside it but we see that it needs the help of its trained velociraptors as well as armed men with guns.

The film is set to take place 22 years after the events of the first movie. Director Colin Trevorrow has also confirmed that a new dino will arise in the movie.

"We were hoping audiences could discover this on their own, but yes, there will be one new dinosaur created by the park's geneticists. The gaps in her sequence were filled with DNA from other species, much like the genome in the first film was completed with frog DNA. This creation exists to fulfil a corporate mandate-they want something bigger, louder, with more teeth. And that's what they get."

"Jurassic World" -- the newest installment based on Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park" series -- arrives in theaters on June 12.
