Paul Wesley Home: ‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Drops $2M for L.A. Contemporary Pad

"The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley won't have to live on some eerily cold and depressing Transylvanian castle with his recent purchase of this stunner of an LA home.

Checkout these photos of his cool hilltop pad which has a touch of modern contemporary design.

Upon having a virtual tour of the home, you might have the impression that the actor had "actually quite the steal for such amazing digs in Los Angeles' notoriously pricey real estate market," says Refinery29.com.

The bachelor pad was previously home to Counting Crows band member, Charlie Gillingham. The keyboardist put the real estate property on the market for $1,999,999. Interestingly, Paul Wesley has paid for it a bit more at $2,050,000, as noted by Forbes.com.

The 3,240 square-foot estate has four bedrooms and four baths, according to its listing.. Some of the home's features include "an open floor plan, living room with fireplace and floor to ceiling windows, Wolf and Bosch appliances, and vaulted truss ceilings." The oversized windows make way for some great natural lights.

The single-family home is a stunning architectural work that offers spectacular city and canyon views. It also has a private master suite, a room designed with pool plans, and another room downstairs that could double as a den or playroom. It was designed by Jay Vanos and was built in 2010. The Studio City Hills property was listed by Carol Huston for Wish Sotheby's Intl Realty.

The home also has provisions for a three-port garage and its outdoors are highlighted by "its own magical, lushly landscaped ¼ mile hiking trail." It also comes with wooden flooring made out of bamboos in its interior and a grassy yard in the exterior.

Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev has came up with an official word, via her Instagram Account, on reports that she's finally calling it quits after six seasons of starring on CW's "The Vampire Diaries". The 26-year-old actress won't make a return for season 7 as she moves on to the next chapter of her life.

"I've just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD Family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries. I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime," recounts the longtime and original cast member of TVD series via her Instagram Account.
