‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5 Spoilers; 3 Major Villains Join Cast, as Revealed in New Trailer [Watch Video]

“Teen Wolf” Season 5’s latest trailer shows that the pack might be facing a new kind of evil brought by a trio of major villains. According to the show’s writer and producer, Eric Wallace, the upcoming season of this highly watched MTV show will be the scariest one they have ever made, according to Movie Pilot.

Jeff Davis, co-writer and co-producer, revealed that Season 5 will be more focused on Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey. According to his statement, Scott will end up holding out when his pack starts to fall apart and his leadership skills get tested.

“Much of the previous seasons were about Scott finding and building a pack,” David told Buzz Feed. “This is going to see him possibly losing it – possibly ending up on his own without his friends by his side – wondering how he is going to face life without them – which is very similar to a teenager who has to go off to college and meet all new people. I think that is a valid fear.”

Apart from the slate of scary villains, Season 5 will also include the team’s emotional fear and worries about who among them will have to go away.

The trailer, which was first shown to the public during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, may have only run for only less than half a minute, but it was packed with the information that “Teen Wolf” fans wanted to know. Apart from bringing back the wolves, the trailer showed that the team will also be working with banshees and other types of mythical creatures.

As seen in the trailer, the new villains, otherwise termed as “The Doctors,” will be an all-new breed of villains that will threaten to tear the pack apart.

“We are constantly challenging ourselves,” Davis admitted, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Can we do bigger and better? ‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5 contains a lot of action, a lot of horror.”

Now that the trailer has been revealed, fans are now curious if these new villains will be appearing when the show returns. After getting a quick sneak peek into what “The Doctors” look like, a lot of needles, and what looked like torture chambers, fans want to know precisely how huge their impact will be on Scott and the rest of the pack, as reported by Youth Health Mag.

“Teen Wolf” Season 5 will return to TV on June 29, with the first episode titled“Creatures of the Night.”
