'Mass Effect 4' XBox One, PS4 & PC Release Date & Trailer: Characters Will be Insanely Detailed Says Game Exec.

The unveiling of "Mass Effect 4" remains one of the most anticipated game launches to date and one of BioWare's developers took to social media to tease fans about the new title.

Over Twitter, Senior Development Director for "Mass Effect" Chris Wynn wrote about the game's characters.

"Busy showing and telling the latest Mass Effect progress to the team. The amount of detail on the characters is insane," tweeted Wynn on April 11.

According to GameRanx, the tweet confirms what's been speculated, that BioWare Montreal focused on the character's visuals to make the game as life-like as possible.

Looking at the recent title release from the same developer, the publication analyzed:

"Given how detailed the characters look in BioWare's other recent title, Dragon Age: Inquisition, it will be curious to see what they will look like in the upcoming sci-fi-themed RPG."

When compared with other titles, The Fuse Joplin also reported that "Mass Effect 4" will offer a great single player gameplay. The site noted that per Wynn, the overall experience will be better than that of both "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and "The Order 1886."

Per the site:

"Chris Wynn, the senior development director of Mass Effect series, confirmed that the single player of the upcoming Mass Effect will be way better than Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Order 1886. However, this is not something that should be a surprise for us, since the Mass Effect series is firstly a single player game even if multiplayer has become more popular."

"Mass Effect 4" Release Date

BioWare has yet to provide a specific target release date for the upcoming title but a number of sources have speculated a 2016 release date.

In a recent report (via CultureMob), based on the estimates of Michael Pachter, a Wedbush analyst believes the game will be released late 2016. The timeline is parallel to an earlier reported claim that we'd probably see an October 2016 release.

Given this date, Cyberland reported that an insider tells fans we will see a cinematic teaser at this year's E3. The next Mass Effect game is expected to be released on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The game will be set in the same setting and universe as the previous three titles took place, thus, the fourth title won't be affected by what occurs in the previous title.
