Paul Tudor Jones II Net Worth: Billionaire Lists Florida Keys Estate at $14.5M

Paul Tudor Jones II, the billionaire who has a net worth of $4.6B according to Forbes, has listed his Florida Keys estate for $14.5M, reports Realtor.com.

Based on the photos available on the website, the founder of Tudor Investment Corp., really knows how to handle money---his home speaks of what a good Florida estate investment looks like.

Wrapped in the warmth and sunshine of Southern Florida, the home boasts a tropical ambiance, which easily welcomes any visitor to a wonderful retreat just by staying there for a while. The Florida Keys home sits on a 6.5 acres of land that offers you stunning ocean views. The property has a patio, swimming pool and an impressive tennis court, notes Realtor.com.

Aside from the two-story main house that is accented with spanning glass panels, and large aquariums, there are two guest cottages and both have the vacation home feel vibe, with at least three bedrooms and three baths. The first cottage offers an ocean view while the other has a garden view, adds the website.

Recently, this ultra-wealthy fund manager just bought another Florida estate which is almost five times as expensive! The co-founder of Everglades Foundation dropped $71.2M for a Casa Apava estate in Palm Beach, reports Palm Beach Daily News.

The news of the sale was just two weeks after his TED Talk in Canada, where he spoke about the widening gap between the rich and the poor, notes Daily Mail.

In his TED talk this March, he also warned about the growing gap consequence, according to Business Insider.

"Now here's a macro forecast that's easy to make and that's that the gap between the wealthiest and the poorest it will get closed. History always does it. It typically happens in one of three ways- either through revolution, higher taxes or wars. None of those are on my bucket list," PTJ said.

PTJ openly said that just like anybody else, he also dreams of having material possessions. However, he also calls for action towards greater corporate social responsibility.

"Now capitalism has been responsible for every major innovation that's made this world a more inspiring and wonderful place to live in. Capitalism has to be based on justice ... I'm not against progress. I want a driverless car and a jetpack like everyone else, but I'm pleading for recognition that with increased wealth or profits should come, has to come ... greater corporate social responsibility," PTJ said as quoted by Business Insider.

PTJ has made major contributions to society. For instance, he founded Robin Hood, a non-profit group in NYC which raised $1.19 billion "in dollars, goods and services" to serve the poorest neighborhoods in New York City, says Palm Beach Daily News.
