New York Giants Jason Pierre-Paul Sells $2.1M Boca Home

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is selling his Boca Raton home in Florida for $2.1 M, reports Realtor.com.

The 26-year-old Florida local, also called JPP by his NFL fans, reportedly bought this home in 2012 for $1.2M. The Super Bowl champ took two and a half years to renovate his home from scratch as he spent most of his time in New York, notes the outlet.

According to its listing on The Agency Luxe, the Pierre-Paul home has just undergone full renovation, making it practically just brand new. The home is said to be located in a "hidden gem community of Fieldbrook Estates." The more than 5400 sq.ft. luxury property sits on an acre of lot containing a mainhouse with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Apart from the main house is a guest house measuring almost 1000 sq.ft. that has two bedrooms, and a "Jack and Jill" bathroom.

The home also features a summer kitchen, a patio and a swimming pool. The Pierre-Paul home welcomes guests in style by showcasing two grand crystal chandeliers from equally grand and elegant, soaring, 21-ft high ceilings, fit for Italian Renaissance times. Wide windows offer great views of the backyard and the custom-built pool, says the listing.

Most of the rooms are covered in marble flooring, with some covered in hardwood materials. The home's very modern kitchen will get the nod of classy chefs as the open kitchen features granite counter tops, a center island and custom-made cabinets. The kitchen also reportedly comes with stainless steel Miele appliances, large refrigerator and freezer, ovens, stove and wine coolers---all of these are included in the $2.1M deal.

Workaholics may find delight in the sunlit home office that consists of custom-built shelves and cabinets. This just makes working at home really comfortable, don't you think?

The master bedroom that measures around 400 sq.ft has a walk-in closet, wooden floors and wonderful views of the backyard and the relaxing pool. A large sauna that four people can occupy is also a remarkable feature of the house

Larry Weisberg is the listing agent of the house as stated in its listing and noted by Realtor.com.

Reason for selling

When asked why the NY Giant is selling the home, the agent said, "geographically, he might want to be in a different location."

It seems like the NY giant player is preparing just in case speculations about him being a free agent in 2016 become true, as HNGN.com hinted.

Based on Giants co-owner Steve Tisch's statement during the NFL owners' annual spring meetings, Pierre-Paul must prove his worth to clinch an extension. "I'm a big JPP fan," Tisch said, as quoted by Newsday. "I think a lot depends on how he performs this season. He's going to come back in great shape physically, mentally. So if he's a key to the team's success this season, I think we're open to [a long-term deal]."

However, there's still hope that he'll be wearing the New York Giants uniform. He was recently spotted working out with New York Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley in Florida.
