'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' Patch & Updates: New Exo Zombies Infection, New Weapons & Allies in New Trailer [Video]

A few days before the new "Ascendance DLC" is set to hit the Xbox game consoles, the game's developers dropped another video to tease its fans of what to expect in the upcoming update.

The new "Exo Zombies Infection" trailer is sure to be a hit among gamers of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" with its introduction of new and exciting things they could use in the popular video game.

The almost three-minute trailer started with a clip of how the players almost did not survive in the first Exo Zombie fight at the Atlas research facility that came with the "Havoc DLC," said Game Spot. It then continued to show how they were transported to a new area, Burgertown, which will be the setting for the second Exo Zombie part.

In the gameplay trailer released on March 29, fans were once again introduced to the return of John Malkovich, Rose McGowan, Bill Paxton, and Jon Bernthal - all donning new gear and suits as they try to outrun, extinguish, and survive zombie attacks.

While the trailer showed new weapons that players could use once they download and install the "Ascendance DLC," it also introduced a new breed of zombies that appear to be more difficult to kill, noted the Express.

This alone poses new challenge to the four characters. In addition to this hurdle, they also need to face and become familiar with a new place. With all these, it is already apparent just how exciting the update would be.

Aside from the new weapons, the clip also showed a new ally of the four characters riding a helicopter and blasting off the zombies one by one. However, the identity of the new character was not revealed in the trailer which means this might only be revealed when the video game drops on March 31.

The new "Ascendance DLC" would also introduce four new multiplayer maps for the gamers to enjoy, said Coming Soon. The four new locations are Perplex, Site 244, Climate, and Chop Shop.

It would also see the arrival of two new weapons, the OHM Werewolf custom variant and a direct energy light hybrid shotgun.

The DLC pack would be available exclusively for Microsoft Xbox game consoles for a short period of time and would then reportedly be accessible to Sony PlayStation consoles soon after.

The "Ascendance DLC" is available solo for $15 or inclusive of the "Call of Duty" Season Pass for $50.
