‘The Incredibles 2’ Cast, Plot and Release Date: Violet & Dash to Fall in Love? Jack-Jack – A Rebel in Sequel? [Rumors]

"The Incredibles 2" will be out in theaters by 2016, according to Venture Capital Post. A long time has passed since the first movie premiered, which means that Violet and Dash are teenagers by now and will meet their love interests in the upcoming sequel.

Christian Today pointed out that Jack-Jack, who is six years old by now, might turn into a young rebel. The report mentioned that the youngest Incredible will have a difficult time controlling his superpowers, which is the ability to transform himself into different shapes.

Jack-Jack’s inability to control his powers end up making him an outcast, as reported by Master Herald. That said, Cross Map speculated that the villain, who might be Syndrome, will take the little boy under his wing and serve as his mentor.

This could be a plot twist that makes it even more challenging for the superhero family to battle the enemy, considering that Mr. and Mrs. Incredible have most likely become older and weaker as well.

If these rumors are true, then it would appear that “The Incredibles 2” will be focusing on the Parr children. Violet will be juggling her school life and boys, while Dash is taking advantage of his superpowers to the point of taking the risk of being discovered by others.

When Mr. and Mrs. Incredible run out of patience with their growing children, Violet and Dash might find refuge in the new villain, who is speculated to be Syndrome, who came back from the dead to get his revenge on the Incredible family.

Some reports claimed that Gazerbeam will also be featured in the sequel, while Los Angeles Times pointed out that Syndrome and Gazerbeam might be the same person.

Now that rumors of “The Incredibles 2” having a 2016 release surfaced on the Internet, fans are still wondering why ten years had to pass before a decision was made. Director Brad Bird has a few things to say to explain the delay.

“Pixar does not look at sequels as a financial plan,” he told Disney.Wikia. “We feel we have a relationship with the audience and that they believe in each movie we put out. If I can come up with a story that is as good as or better than the first film, then, I’d love to return to that world.”
