Kate Hudson recently made headlines when she and her fiancé, Matthew Bellamy, publicly announced that their engagement was off last December. Now, though, her love life is once again the talk of the town as she was spotted getting cozy with Chris Martin in Malibu, according to Daily Mail.
They are both single parents, and were seen hanging out while their children played in the sand nearby. The pictures spread like wildfire particularly because the Coldplay front man is allegedly dating “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” star, Jennifer Lawrence.
Hudson was not shy at all, showing off her incredibly svelte figure. She wore a multi-colored string bikini that had her washboard abs on full display. To accessorize her Malibu summer look, she accessorized with a pair of very trendy aviator sunglasses, a silver arm cuff, and a gold necklace. She kept her blonde locks tied up in a messy bun.
It would appear that Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, may have put her matchmaking skills to practice. Hello Magazine reported that Hudson oftentimes looked up to Paltrow and asked her old buddy for advice about random daily matters.
“She’s been my go-to about where to get things done – grocery shopping, a good mani-pedi, you know, all that,” Hudson previously told Harper’s Bazaar. “I look up to Gwyneth and how she has been in her life.”
Before being linked to Martin and getting engaged to Bellamy of Muse, she was also previously married to Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes. Taking a quick look at the men romantically linked with her, it would appear that the “Raising Helen” actress has a bit of a thing for musicians.
However, even if that may be the case, the recent Malibu outing with Martin might actually be purely platonic. The two are known to be good friends for quite some time now. “Chris and Kate go to the gym together,” a source told Hollywood Life. “That’s just one of the activities they like to do.” The report also mentioned that they oftentimes train together at Studio City’s Tracy Anderson.
Moreover, taking a look at the now-viral photographs, shared on Perez Hilton, it would seem that JLaw has absolutely nothing to worry about. They were only having a friendly chat on the sand before the duo joined their children in the water.
