In line with the Microsoft Surface Pro line of products, a new Microsoft Surface Phone concept has been making rounds over the internet. With the Window 10 up for release this year, could the Surface line be getting a big series boost?
In a report by Android Origin, even though the Surface Phone hasn't been officially confirmed, the site notes that designer Nadir Aslam has come up with a new concept that is absolutely stunning.
Exterior Design
In the design, the smartphone is made of a strong yet light magnesium alloy that gives the rumored device a luxurious and slim finish. In keeping with the Surface Pro line's design, the concept of the 5.7-inch full-HD smartphone also comes with a kickstand that allows viewers easy viewing as well as touch cover and stylus accessories.
Phone Features
In terms of its internal specs, the concept provides the device with the latest Intel chipset, complete connectivity features including LTE, Bluetooth, NFC and micro HDMI.
As of now, Microsoft has not yet confirmed if and when the two rumored devices -- the Surface Pro 4 and this conceptualized smartphone -- will be released.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Bundle
Recently Microsoft has released the details of its generous Microsoft Surface Pro 3 trade-in program. The details of the discount for the hybrid Bundle are available online. The IB Times reports that the discounts go as high as $300 and includes the Surface Pro 3 tablet along with four add-on items you can choose from. These include type covers, sleeves, Office 365 software as well as the Microsoft Complete Extended Service Plan.
The discounted deals being offered are believed to indicate that a newer product is on the way. With stores selling their stocks of the Pro 3, their inventory decrease enables then to clear their inventory for rumored soon-to-arrive Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
Recalling an earlier report by Realty Today, it was mentioned that the fourth installment of the Pro series is expected to hit the shelves this year. Aside from the devices running on Windows 10, it's being reported by various sources that the device will be released with two models. The first is a mini version, possibly an 8-inch device and a larger model that will be somewhere along the 12 to 14-inch range.
It's estimated that the upcoming Surface Pro 4 would cost somewhere between $800 to $1,600, depending on the specs.
