It was reported a few days earlier that Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth were interested in delving into the hotel business.
It was shared by Us Magazine that the "Walk The Line" star was in the process of opening a boutique hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
"They've gone down a few times to look at properties," said the source of the publication and added that "They've met with an architect and decorator, but they haven't officially signed everything yet."
The rumor flame was fanned when the star posted a cryptic photo that coincided with the report. On March 11, Witherspoon posted a photo of herself in front via Instagram of what seems to be a hotel or inn. The blonde beauty work an adorable floral blue outfit, heeled wedges and had a mysterious "shhh" sign over her lips.
"#SecretProject... coming soon...," was all that the starlet wrote.
Report Inaccurate?
While the people in Tennessee would probably be wild over the idea that the Southern Belle and her husband -- who already own a $2 million home in the same area -- may run a hospitality business in Tennessee, a rep has put a lid on the rumor.
According to Gossip Cop, a source close to the "Wild" star has revealed that the report is entirely "not true."
While as of now the plans haven't been confirmed, with the pair's love and commitment to the state (their two-year-old son is named Tennessee), as Stylist evaluated, purchasing and developing a hotel isn't out of the realm of possibilities.
Reese grew up in Nashville and frequents the state prior to purchasing her Oak Hill home. With Toth being a property agent and Witherspoon being a native of the state, it makes a great deal of sense for the pair to make long-term investments in the area.
Nashville has been gaining popularity in the past couple of years thanks to Hayden Panettiere's "Nashville" series. The "music city" of America is definitely an up and coming location that would be a great place to invest in.
Reese Witherspoon has been doing a lot outside of acting. She's got three kids -- two with former husband Ryan Philippe -- a blossoming marriage and a new lifestyle brand, Draper James launching this Spring.
