GTA 5 Online' Heists Release Date & Update: New Ways to Earn Money, 'Terminator 2' PvP Mode Revealed

It may have taken forever for the "GTA V Online" to come to the hands of gamers but the developers of the game seemed determined to make the wait well worth it. Reports are circulating that the updated version of the game is coming up with more features, which includes new ways to earn money and rewards along with new playing modes.

According to Game Spot, game developer Rockstar Games have decided to add new player modes to the "Online Heists." Three PvP modes have been revealed by the developers:

Come Out To Play - A team composed of three Runners would try to outwit a team of Hunters out to get them. While the Runners have different weapons to protect them, their movement is limited on foot while the Hunters have vehicles and other high-end weapons. Hunters have unlimited lives while the Runners only have one life to make it.

Siege Mentaility - four players go against six attackers in a "location defense mode, "GTA style." The four defenders have all the weapons they could use, however, attackers have unlimited lives at their disposal.

Hasta La Vista - It's a battle between the Truckers and the Cyclists. Cyclists' objective is to reach the last checkpoint without getting rundown by the Truckers hot on their wheels. Truckers do not possess any other weapon except their vehicles. If at least one Cyclist reaches the final checkpoint then they win. If however, one gets run down, then the game is over.

According to Cinema Blend, the Hasta La Vista gameplay has taken inspiration from the film by Arnold Schwarzenegger, 'Terminator 2." It talked of a scene in the movie when a terminator tried to go over a kid while riding a dirtbike.

Some fans of "GTA V" even made a short feature that featured the famous chase scene on it.

Meanwhile, the update would also bring new ways for players to earn money in the game.

A report in the Playstation Lifestyle said that there would be new daily goals for players so they could earn extra cash. There would be three objectives everyday, which could earn a player up to $500,000 of in-game currency.

Additional free mode activities would also be included in the update. Side missions from Lester, Trevor or Ron would come from time to time that would help players earn additional cash and rewards along the way.

"GTA V Online" would arrive on March 10, 2015.
