Harry Styles Home Art Collection to Include 'Banksy-Style Mural’

It is one thing to appreciate art. It's another thing to actually build an entire gallery of it in your own house.

Harry Styles, one of the vocalists of the widely-revered British boy band, One Direction, and an art aficionado, is reportedly keen on building his very own art gallery at home for his disposal.

And, the 21-year old heartthrob-crooner reportedly wants to take things to the next level by planning to commission the services of no less than the enigmatic artists, Bambi and Banksy, to paint a mural on one of the walls. The story first came out in the Daily Star.

It is no secret, especially to his thousands of fans, that Harry is in possession of an amazing collection of masterpieces and other works of art. According to the Daily Star, part of the collection is an Andy Warhol-style painting of his friend Kate Moss, and a canvas of actress and fashion model Cara Delevingne.

Banksy is a famous British street artist who has remained ever elusive when it comes to revealing his true identity. He is known for his works which are mostly political in nature. Meanwhile, Bambi, dubbed as his female counterpart, is also making a good account of herself.

According to The Guardian, the London female artist's list of notable clients includes Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and music royalties Kanye West, Rihanna, and Robbie Williams.

The two artists, who have both remained incognito, could command a hefty price of tens of thousands of dollars for their work.

An MSN news article reports that the British singer loves to splurge on expensive art pieces such as that of a £10,000 floor lamp, and a mostly love-and-sex themed series of print artworks worth £20,000 he purchased last year. The entire collection is reportedly worth well more than £200,000.

A source, according to the article, also said that Harry really takes things seriously when it comes to decorating his pad. He is fond of showing off his prized collection to his family and friends.

The art collection will be housed under the roof of his Hampstead bachelor pad in London, England. According to the Daily Mail, Harry shelled out a handsome amount of £3 million for the upscale mansion that has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It also boasts of three reception areas perfect for hosting parties.
