'Bond 24: Spectre' Trailer, Cast & News: Behind-The-Scenes With Villain Dave Bautista, Details About 'Bada*s' Character

Professional wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista is set to star as a villain the newest installment of the James Bond franchise, "Spectre."

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor recently spoke to Empire Magazine (via Yahoo!) and discussed a bit about the role he's about to take on.

While Bautista's role was well-played in "Guardians" the actor wanted to play a character that had more of a story as well as depth.

"When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions," Bautista said to the magazine during the interview. "I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, 'Yes, he's a badass.' I said, 'Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?' He said, 'Very.' That's what I like about Mr. Hinx. He's very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I'm not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humor."

Relating the role to his Marvel character's (Drax the Destroyer) inability to comprehend figures of speech, Bautista further commented, "He definitely knows what a metaphor is."

Per this in-action image released, Mr Hinx, one of the film's anti-bond characters, sports a goatee, a bald head and uses a newsboy cap. The site notes that Bautista's role will revolve around a chase in the Austrian Alps and an attempt to kidnap Dr. Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux).

Speaking of the Bond Girl, Dr. Madeleine Swann played by Seydoux is not the typical "pretty woman with nothing upstairs."

"I don't consider myself a Bond girl," said the beautiful actress. "I think I'm not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can't be like, 'Oh, James.' You have to find something else. She's not a fighter, she's a doctor, and adds. "She fights in another way."

The official synopsis below for the film for "Spectre" was shared by Screen Rant and is as follows:

A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

The 24th Bond film, "Spectre" lands in theaters Nov. 6. No trailer has been released but the video below is a behind-the-scenes look at the film's production. Daniel Craig returns as Bond and is accompanied by "Skyfall" stars Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris.
