'Assassin's Creed: Victory' PS4, Xbox One, & PC Gameplay & Trailer: Release Date Leaked? Why Ubisoft Will Unveil at E3 [Rumors]

The "Assassin's Creed" video game has been doing well and is right up there with some of the most well-known and popular games. Following the disappointing 2014 release of "Assassin's Creed: Unity," many gamers wonder when the next title will be due out.

As the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 approaches, rumors suggest that a number of new headline games could be unveiled. One of the titles rumored for release is "Assassin's Creed: Victory."

According to Master Herald, word around town is that Ubisoft is looking to launch the sequel at the E3 conference.

"Recently, some online sources reportedly found a release date leaked online, but Ubisoft has yet to confirm that news. Most gamers are aware that the E3 conference is something quite large, they are expecting to see some information about the new game at that point. According to a few sources, that is where Ubisoft will break the silence about the new game," says the entertainment publication.

Recalling an earlier report by Kotaku, what we kow so far is that the game will take place in 19th century London and per Kotaku's estimate, we could see the open-world action series hit the shelves sometime in the fall of this year.

However, given that "Unity" was released with a number of bugs, the game developer has been working doubly hard to write a number of wrongs. Meaning an E3 reveal is possible if the film is planning to moving on from Unity.

Based on the assessment of CrossMap, "rumors that Ubisoft might be announcing the release date for Assassin's Creed: Victory this coming E3, which is very much possible and perfect timing if you think about it."

We could see the unveiling of the game but it could also be announcement releases, game spoilers and updates on development.

In related news, lead writer Darby McDevitt recently discussed the future of the upcoming title during an appearance in community stream (via IGN).

"We've created 500, 600, 700 years worth of history that we hope to start teasing out for the next 10, 20 years or however long we're around," said McDevitt. "I particularly love the lore. I've been working the past two years, with all the other writers, on getting a great document together on the First Civilization."

The focus of the new game is also geared towards providing a more "modern narrative," he added. "So the future -- and this is the plan -- is to smartly reuse things so we can have a more robust modern day."

"Assassin's Creed: Victory" is due out in 2015 and will be compatible with PS4, XBox One and PC.
