Pacquiao vs Mayweather 2015 Fight Predictions: UFC 184 Ronda Rousey Rooting For Manny Pacquiao, Why?

More and more people are weighing in on the confirmed Manny Pacquiao- Floyd Mayweather Jr. superfight happening on May 2.

Even with a big fight against Cat Zingano on Saturday for UFC 184, the skilled female MMA fighter is rooting for the Filipino boxer, reports The Washington Post.

"Pacquiao's been very, very nice me, so I'm going to root for him," quoted TMZ (via WP) of the 28-year-old after a workout.

Back in January, Pacquiao recorded a video message for Rousey wishing her luck against Zingano. Sharing the video via Instagram, Ronda captioned the post, "So humbling to hear such kind words from a legend like @emmanuelpacquiao."

Rousey is Motivated

As a boxing fan, Rousey says she's eager to watch the boxing face-off. Wanting to be present when the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight happens, Ronda says this has fueled her motivation to win her upcoming UFC 184 matches head on. In order to have the big bucks to spend for the Las Vegas MGM Grand event and be around to cheer for Manny, she's got a special plan in place.

"I really want to go so bad," said Rousey to TMZ. In order to try to make it happen, "I gotta go beat Cat Zingano so I can make a couple million dollars and afford that ticket."

According to SI, as of Thursday afternoon, for those interested to see the single, biggest sporting event in history, the cheapest ticket listed on TiqIQ.com is pegged at a whopping $4,175.

BBC notes that Mayweather's WBC and WBA welterweight titles long with Pacquiao's WBO belt will be the prizes on the line.

Making the announcement, Mayweather wrote over his Shots page, "What the world has been waiting for has arrived. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on May 2, 2015, is a done deal. I promised the fans we would get this done, and we did. We will make history on May 2nd. Don't miss it! This is the signed contract from both fighters."

Mayweather then posted a photo of the contract with his signature and Pacquiao's.
