Jordan Dub Zero 'Laser' Release Date, Price & Where to Buy? [Photos]

Fans of the shoe collaboration between Michael Jordan and global sports brand Nike would have a new sneaker to be excited about. Word is out that Nike is releasing a Laser edition of the cult favorite, Air Jordan Dub Zero.

The remastered Dub Zero joins other upgraded versions of Air Jordan favorites in celebration of the iconic brand's 30th anniversary. Among the other shoes included in the "Laser Pack" are the Dub Zero, Air Jordan I, Air Jordan IV, and Air Jordan XX.

According to the Nike official website, the remastered shoe line is called "Laser Pack" to give distinction to the laser print upper materials of the four new pairs.

The Dub Zero was first introduced to the Air Jordan line in 2005, said Sole Collector. It became the brand's first hybrid sneaker as it debuted with the combination of technologies and designs from the Air Jordan IV, Air Jordan VI, Air Jordan XI, Air Jordan XII, Air Jordan XXIII, Air Jordan XV, Air Jordan XVII, and Air Jordan XX.

It featured a patent leather design on its first release.

On its second release in 2009, the Air Jordan Dub Zero arrived to shelves with an embroidered logo instead of the laser print.

Now, a decade after the Dub Zero first came to Nike, a new Dub Zero would arrive that not only included the design and silhouettes of other Air Jordan designs in one shoe but also adopted the laser print design first introduced in the Air Jordan XX.

The new Jordan Dub Zero Laser features an all-white sneaker with light grey accents. It has a laser print design on top of the shoe's base in light gold color.

The shoe's parts that utilized patent leather were replaced with traditional leather in the new version of the sneaker.

A light grey tongue and lining could be seen, adding extra character to the plain white shoe with a Jumpman logo. A white weave covers the back part of the shoe's heel, adding more texture to the shoe.

The word "Jordan" is found at the part right behind one's Achilles' heel, which adds a personal touch to the remastered sneaker. An icy outsole completes the look.

The new Air Jordan Dub Zero Laser is set to hit Nike.com and select Nike retailers on Feb. 28, 2015.

The new collector's item design would be sold at $185 a pair, said Sneaker Freaker.
