Microsoft's newest title for its "Forza Motorsport" line is due out in 2015 and recent comments from executives indicate what gamers can expect from the Xbox game.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, 6th title for the series is not going to let fans down. Graeme Boyd (Social Marketing Manager) & Aaron Greenberg (Global Director of Games Marketing talked about "Forza Motorsport 6" on the Rectify Gaming Podcast.
The site notes that two officials from Microsoft teased details from the upcoming game, "Forza Motorsport 6." They teased saying the following:
"Stay tuned on that one. There will be lots of Forza news to come, and Turn 10 in particular is good at communicating with the community when they have stuff to talk about. From what I've seen, no one is gonna be disappointed about that game."
Coming to Windows PC?
The game, developed by Tune 10 and published by Microsoft Studios, is a popular racing video game create exclusively for Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
While the knowing Microsoft representatives spoke about the game, they didn't mention a window PC release but. As it stands, the game is still exclusive to Xbox, which AOTFB notes isn't a bad idea.
The online gaming publication noted that while 2013's "Forza Motorsport 5" received rave reviews, there is still much to be done. Even with an impressive gameplay, the succeeding releases were riddled with DLC but not enough content.
"To be fair, Forza Motorsport 5 was a launch title for the Xbox One console and it's likely Turn 10 had to rush to put the game out. The game had less than half of the cars and tracks that were available in Forza Motorsport 4. The DLC and microtransactions also made people cringe," reports the site.
Last month it was announced that "'Forza Motorsport 6' is coming!" The news indicated that the game was already in development and will arrive exclusively to Xbox One. The lineup for the upcoming title includes "the GT, Shelby GT350 Mustang, and the F-150 Raptor, debuted by Ford earlier today at the auto show."
It continued to add that, "The announcement of Forza Motorsport 6 kicks off 2015 and the ten-year anniversary of the Forza Motorsport series. This year promises to be the busiest and biggest in Forza history and we'll have much more to say about Forza 6 and more of our exciting plans in the future. Should Tune 10 and Microsoft Studios be able to play attention to the clamor gamers, there's no doubt that "Forza Motorsport 6" will be a great release.
