LeBron 12 ‘All-Star’ Release Date, Price, Where to Buy?

New York City thrives on the fast-paced energy that connects the city's five boroughs, which, in turn, provide an efficient backdrop for this month's festivities--the NBA All-Star Weekend. The mega sportswear maker, Nike, drew inspiration from different types of distinctive architecture that are distributed all over the city.

The New York skyline is dotted with unique pieces of iconic art and architecture that inspired some of today's most unique and highly coveted shoe designs, such as the KD7, Kyrie 1, Kobe X, and, most of all, the LeBron 12 All-Star. The LeBron 12 All-Star will be out by Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, and is expected to be sold with a whopping price tag of $220 at selected retail stores.

This will be LeBron James's 12th shoe, hence the name LeBron 12 All-Star. As stated in Sole Collector, James will be the All-Star starter for the Eastern Conference next month.

These shoes were named after some of today's biggest basketball icons, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kobe Bryant, and James. Each model was designed differently with the use of a clean, yet modern, color palette that fits the star athlete it was named after.

The LeBron 12 All-Star has a white and black color scheme, and was livened up a bit with a very colorful translucent outsole and iridescent Swoosh branding. What makes the design even more unique is that it clearly boasts of a purposeful design, especially with its geometric angles.

According to the report, the LeBron 12 All-Star was inspired by the Flatiron Building, one of the city's quintessential show stoppers. It stands like a jewel in a city block that converges Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

He might decide to wear the Nike LeBron 12 All-Star when he finally steps foot on the hardwood floors of Madison Square Garden. The model embodies a very uniquely bold aesthetic as well as disputable strength, which could also be said about both the Flatiron building and LeBron James himself, says Nike.

Moreover, Footwear News reported that LeBron James will be producing the very first fashion show competition for the NBA players using his Springhill Production Company. Although there will be no angel wings on their runway, some of the sport's biggest and strongest players of late will be winging it to make sure that they win and become NBA's next top model.

The athletes who are going to take part in the show are James Harden, Zach LaVine, John Wall, Chandler Parsons, DeMarcus Cousins, and Klay Thompson. Of course, LeBron James will be among the guests of the event, most likely wearing his new LeBron 12 All-Star, together with Flo Rida, Wale, and Kevin Hart.
